Great educational extra for early Elementary Children - Making Friends Paper Dolls

=) - this has been a favorite in our home for a long time.

It's a huge website with crafts and more, but we especially like the Making friends paper dolls.  It's great fun for little ones to color and play with...  Great fun for early elementary kids to color and practise cutting out!

AND great fun for older kids to have on hand when they babysit young children.

I've even had the big kids color the puppets and cut them out for little ones AND then I have laminated them and added popsicle sticks for a reusable activity!

They have added many educational costumes for different countries, holidays and more, which have been fun extras for Country Days, and holidays.  I even printed out the Japanese costume for our younger girls to color when we hosted Japanese exchange students.

Why not check the site out?

(I will also add the caveat that any site I share needs to be checked out by home schooling parents.  I personally don't recommend letting your child check out any site you have not approved of, and personally don't let my preteens / young teens on the internet by themselves unsupervised.  As well, I check the site history of older teens - that could probably be a blog all by itself!  =) )
