AHEA has been asked to be a part of a new organization called Parents for Choice in Education. This group is being formed as a result of attacks on parental authority in education and significant concerns to changes in the education system both provincially and at local school board levels. This political lobby group is still in the development stages, but very soon plans to be actively involved in lobbying against changes which negatively affect parental authority in education and for positive changes to the same.
