Encouragement for New Education Minister: Honourable Thomas Lukaszuk

Mr Lukaszuk has responded to AHEA's letter of congratulations. His letter states:
"Thank you very much for your Congratulations on my appointment as Minister of Eduation. I am humbled by the confidence Premier Redford placed in me, and look forward to this role.
The education of Alberta's children has always been of great interest to me, both as a former teacher and as a parent. I am committed to ensuring Alberta's chidren receive the best possible education wherever they live in the province.
