The AHEA Used Curriculum Sale 2019!
At the 2019 Convention, you will have to opportunity to sell your used curriculum, educational materials and games at our Used Curriculum Sale (UCS). We are very excited to be located in the Stockmens Pavilion in the main building this year!
The deadline for dropping off your items is Friday at 10:30AM. No exceptions.
Want to sell?
Register your items online, drop them off at the UCS (located in the Stockmens Pavilion), and enjoy the convention while we sell them for you. You set the prices for your own items and choose if unsold items are to be donated, or if you would like to pick up any unsold items at the end of the convention. (In addition, if you have items that you wish to donate, these will be made available to families for free.)
Please be advised there is a 25% commission charged on all items sold.
The commission will be taken off your total before your cheque is sent out after the convention is over. Cheques may take 6-8 weeks to be mailed out.
Selling for friends?
If you are selling items for your friends, you must make them an account too, and label them separately so that we can keep track of how much they all made.
The program does not allow us to differentiate how much each person had made when selling items for friends under the same account. Please make an account for each person who is selling items.
Please bring your Master Sheet that lists all of your items when you come in for drop off on Thursday night or Friday morning. You can find this sheet on your account where is says, "print labels," there also is the "print master sheet" option.
Please print off and bring a Waiver stating that the AHEA UCS is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. Sign the waiver in the presence of one of our wonderful UCS volunteers.
Want to shop?
The sales floor of the UCS will be open during the 2019 AHEA Convention, where you will have the opportunity to browse and shop from any number of items.
Each item you are selling must be labelled, (Ex.In a series of books: “Book 1”, “2”, “3”, and “4” would need 8 labels, one on the outside, and one on the inside of each book). Labels sometimes get ripped and torn on the outside.
When our cashiers are checking out items, they take a look at the labels to make sure that the whole set is there and not being separated from the rest of the set, being sold against the wishes of the seller.
The system only prints two labels per item, so you may have to photocopy them if you want more.
The donation drop off starts on Saturday at 3:00PM. You may bring any items you would like to donate, and set them up on the empty tables.
