AHEA's 2018 Convention Children's Program

AHEA Children's Program

The greatest joy of childhood is often found in the moments of play and connecting with friends. We create the environment but your children are the real experts of fun. This two day program is designed to embrace the unexpected and amazing ways children engage with the world around them.

From activity centers to cooperative games and challenges ~ your children will discover new interests or expand on their natural talents - all while you take in the convention!

Please note: We do not accept walk-in registrations.

We will do our best to accommodate common allergies, such as gluten-free or lactose intolerant. To avoid the possibility of a child being unable to partake in any of the provided snack foods, we encourage parents of children with uncommon allergies, as well as those with multiple allergies, to send suitable snacks along with their children.

While we are in operation, the only adults permitted into the Children’s Program are Children’s Program Volunteers, Convention Team Members, and our First Aid nurse. Details of the security system will be provided upon registration.

Our volunteers are what makes the Children’s Program happen, and we are always looking for good helpers! If you are interested in helping please contact our Childrens Program Coordinator at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Volunteers gain free access to the main convention, and there will be a thank-you meal hosted for Children’s Program Volunteers Saturday evening.
